Join us between this Sunday 3pm and 6pm for a seed bomb making workshop.  It’s time to restock the seed bomb exchange machine designed and fabricated by Interface Studio, the designers of Hole #9, The Living Lot. The seed bombs given out at The Putting Lot allow our visitors to bring the ideas of sustainability back to their own neighborhoods. The seed bombs are a mixture of clay, fertilizer, and native New York wildflower seeds. When thrown into other vacant lots or empty spaces, these small balls disintegrate in the rain and bloom into wild flowers.  Seed bombs have been an important tactic of neighborhood beautification since they were developed during the of the guerrilla gardening movement in the 1970s.
